If you are looking to buy or rent, sell or let in or around Bow, Bromley by Bow, Limehouse, Mile End, Bethnal Green, Stepney, Victoria Park, Whitechapel or Poplar then come in to see us at Butler & Stag Bow.
Neil is the co-owner of Butler & Stag, along with lifetime friend Michael Woolley. They set up the business in January 2012 with the objectives of building a market leading estate agency that changed public perception of the industry. Fast forward to today and our five star customer service has seen us win multiple awards for excellence from British Property Awards and Estate Agency Masters. Our three branches have all been voted within the top 0.5% of the UK Best Estate Agency Guide. So far so good.
Neil has specialised in residential property since 2002 initially in the city fringe markets and more recently in West Essex with our Theydon Bois (2017) and more recently with Chingford (2020). Neil’s knowledge of the area and passion for redevelopments, new homes and property management has seen him oversee several high profile transactions and land deals in collaboration with local and national developers.
Always up for a challenge, Neil has helped raise tens of thousands of pounds for local charities by throwing himself in events such the Three Peaks Challenge and London to Brighton bike ride. Away from the office Neil is a family man, he has a son and a daughter and enjoys spending time with them, along with his wife Claire. Neil also coaches his son’s football team at Buckhurst Hill FC and has overseen the transition of many of their players to professional academies.
Michael set up Butler & Stag with best mate Neil Leahy back in 2012, having worked in the East London/City fringe property 2market since 1999. Over the years he has gained a wealth of experience and knowledge, personally handling almost every scenario you could possibly imagine within the world of property. More recently he has excelled with site and land acquisitions for high net worth clients, or acting on behalf of land/site owners, providing guidance on how best to approach a disposal of their assets.
Michael now heads up the Land & New Homes department which is the most exciting and rapidly expanding arm of the Butler & Stag operation. On the odd occasion Michael isn’t found working out of the London or West Essex office, he will be acting as chauffer to one of his three children or spending quality time with his long suffering wife!
Starting his career in Bishops Stortford, Ted has been in the property industry since 2016. Born and raised in Epping Green, Ted has excellent knowledge of all things CM16. He has recently joined the Land & New Homes team at Butler & Stag and is developing his skills in estate agency, always striving to improve and is now becoming an accomplished agent. Ted's other passion is sports, if he isn't running around a football pitch on a Sunday morning, he can be found hacking his way around a golf course in the local area.
Tom’s career started in travel and hospitality, before his attentions turned to the property industry. Working in our Land department, Tom’s attention to detail and highly organised way of working have seen him progress quickly.
Tom has gained lots of experience and made vast contacts across the industry which are instrumental to his role. Whilst he is involved in all aspects of the business he has a particular strength in identifying new sites and investments across London and home count. Tom values repeat business and enjoys building relationships with new and existing clients.
Away from the office Tom is avid West Ham fan and season ticket holder, as well as spending time with his close friends and family.
