Michael Woolley  Director - Land & Homes

Michael set up Butler & Stag with best mate Neil Leahy back in 2012 and they now have three offices, with plans to continue their expansion. Michael loves his sport and was once fairly handy at football, rugby and cricket. Based at the Roman Road office in the East End, this is an area Michael has great affinity with, having worked in the East End and City fringe markets throughout his career in agency. When not in the office he spends his time with his wife and three children!

Robert Hamlyn

Robert Hamlyn  Branch Manager - Head Of London Sales

Robert is new to the team and is head of sales in the London branch of Butler and Stag, having previously worked for 13 years in a leading branch of one London's largest agencies. He brings extensive experience in all aspects of property transaction and adopts a "hands-on" approach, striving for the highest standards in an honest and overt way, and values the ethic of hard work and effective communication. Outside work, Robert likes playing badminton and swimming , and has three daughters that keep him on his toes 24/7!

Robert Burgess  Assistant Manager - London Sales

Robert recently joined the Butler and Stag team, however isn’t new to the property industry or the Directors who he knows well and has worked alongside in previous years. Being a lifelong resident of East London and having 14 years experience in the London Property market ensures that Rob can use his inside knowledge of the local area to sell the perfect property to his clients. Rob has a keen interest in cars, travel, and his best bud Coco the Boxer dog who can always be seen walking around parks of east London.

Paul Curtis

Paul has a worldwide wealth of experience that has lasted over 25 years. He has covered all aspects of the property market including sales, lettings, and investments. His skill set is dealing with clients on a personal basis and guiding them to achieve their goals in a stress-free atmosphere.

He is a born and bred Londoner, growing up and being schooled in the East End, he has great knowledge of the area. He has gained a great understanding of the markets he has worked in whilst living in Asia for 8 years dealing with London property investments for sales and lettings.

He still loves to travel and has a skill in cooking which he gained from his travels away from the office and time with his family.

Natalie Brown

Natalie Brown  Head of Property Management

Natalie has recently joined Butler & Stag as Our New Head of Property Management and brings with her over 16 years' experience in the Property Management and Lettings industry, Natalie has worked in East and central London for the majority of her career. Throughout her career, Natalie has managed a large portfolio of properties as well as managing the staff in property management and account team, she prides herself on being able to use this experience to provide excellent customer service. Away from the office, Natalie enjoys spending family time with her husband and their little girl.

Sophie Chumbley – Property Manager

Sophie Chumbley   Property Manager

Having initially started off working as a Saturday Receptionist in our London Office, Sophie’s excellent customer service skills and ability to problem solve made her an obvious choice for a fulltime role within our Property Management team. Sophie loves what she does and is extremely keen to gain experience and progress within the company. This enthusiasm shines through when dealing with our Landlords and Tenants who all value her time and care. In her spare time Sophie enjoys socialising with her friends and family and taking her beloved dog Teddy for long walks.

Customer Feedback

We pride ourselves on our level of customer service. However, occasionally things do go wrong, and you may need to complain. Please see our complaints procedure.

We are committed to providing a professional service to all our clients and customers. When something goes wrong, we need you to tell us about it. This will help us to improve our standards. If you have a complaint, please put it in writing, including as much detail as possible. We will then respond in line with the timeframes set out below (if you feel we have not sought to address your complaints within eight weeks, you may be able to refer your complaint to the Property Ombudsman to consider without our final viewpoint on the matter).

What will happen next?

  • We will send you a letter acknowledging receipt of you complaint within three working days of receiving it, enclosing a copy of this procedure.
  • We will then investigate your complaint. This will normally be dealt with by the office manager who will review your file and speak to the member of staff who dealt with you. A formal written outcome of our investigation will be sent to you within 15 working days of sending the acknowledgement letter.
  • If, at this stage, you are still not satisfied, you should contact us again and we will arrange for a separate review to take place by a senior member of staff.
  • We will write to you within 15 working days of receiving your request for a review, confirming our final viewpoint on the matter.
  • If you are still not satisfied after the last stage of the in-house complaint procedure (or more than 8 weeks has elapsed since the complaint was first made) you can request an independent review from The Property Ombudsman without charge.

You will need to submit your complaint to The Property Ombudsman within 12 months of receiving our final viewpoint letter, including any evidence to support your case. The Property Ombudsman requires that all complaints are addressed through this in-house complaints procedure, before being submitted for an independent review.
