Butler & Stag get on their bikes for charity

Staff from local estate agents Butler & Stag put pedal to the metal for Haven House Children's Hospice on Sunday 15th September going from London to Brighton - one of the most famous cycling challenges in the UK.

The team was a man down on the day as Michael Woolley had flu but Rory Patterson Chris Marsh, Bradley Gale and Director Neil Leahy joined over 4,000 riders taking part in the 54-mile route. They were tested through the Sussex countryside and on the ascent of Ditching Beacon before gliding into Brighton seafront.

The sun shone as they set off from Clapham Common at 8.45am. Neil was first to arrive in Brighton at 1.00pm closely followed by the others. He said, "It was a wonderful, satisfying feeling to complete this iconic event and raise much needed funds for our chosen charity Haven House." Their total so far is £2,500 but confident of reaching £3k once all monies are collected.

Butler & Stag are known for rolling up sleeves and going hands on in their attempts to raise funds for local community projects. Neil Leahy says "Our philosophy is simple. As well as giving our clients and customers a first-class service we like to give something back to local community projects and charities that need our help."

Butler & Stag was founded in 2012. They have been actively raising money ever since and have generated over £40,000 for chosen good causes.
